Courtney Matevey is the owner and sole photographer of Green Apple Photo. She has been featured in national publications and wedding sites within the first 3 years of opening her store front studio location. She has also been privileged to work with several of the top 10 wedding photographers in the United States and Internationally.

Courtney began Green Apple Photo after her son was diagnosed with autism and had a difficult time attending to the camera. She began working with Cohen in a more photo journalistic manner and the outcomes amazed both her husband, family, and friends. A few months later Green Apple Photo was launched! Quickly, couples were begging her to consider photographing their weddings. Courtney wasn't so sure at first, but after her first wedding, quickly fell in love with wedding photography and never looked back. Courtney has been commissioned for weddings throughout the US and Mexico. She can often be found working in St. Louis, Chicago, and Springfield, Illinois, her home.

Even though Courtney has had many accomplishments since graduating with her Masters, she is most proud of helping her son battle and defeat Autism! She can often be found in the community educating families and doing volunteer work to help others cope with the disease and come out winning!
